We only ask for personal information when you sign up or contribute to our site. Our information collection is only used to create and maintain your account on our site. You are free to browse this site anonymously. We don’t share any personally identifying information publicly or with third-parties, except when required to by law.

We use Google Analytics for site performance purposes as well as viewing which topics are more popular. It is not currently used for targeted ad tracking, etc.

We only retain collected information for as long as necessary to maintain your account. What data we store, we’ll protect within commercially acceptable means to prevent loss and theft, as well as unauthorized access, disclosure, copying, use or modification. The only information we currently store is your username, e-mail, and password if you use the e-mail account creation method. If you use one of our O-Auth integrations, Facebook (, Github (, etc., we only store your e-mail and account username. All stored information is encrypted in our user database. If your e-mail is associated with Gravatar (, your gravatar picture will become your profile picture for our site.

You are free to refuse our request for your personal information, with the understanding that we may be unable to provide you with any account related services.
